ABOUT ME
I'm an Associate Professor and Associate Dean at the Robertson School of Government at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. A native of Schenectady, New York, I received my BA in Russian from Wellesley College, an MPhil in Russian and East European Studies from Oxford University and a PhD in Political Science at the University of Michigan. I'm also a former US Foreign Service Officer and I've served in The Netherlands, Russia, and Bulgaria.

I am particularly interested in the politics of technology and cyberwarfare. I have served as an External Research Associate at the US Army War College. I was also a Fulbright Scholar at Durham University's Institute for Advanced Study in the UK.

I'm an active member of the International Studies Association, the Association of Computing Machinery, and Women in Cybersecurity.
